The governor made the announcement while reviewing the board’s report for the 2023 Hajj. He thanked the casual employee for exhibiting self-satisfaction. He stated that Dayyabu’s character was admirable and worthy of imitation by all and everyone.
“As a casual employee with a meager salary, this gentleman was able to recoup the lost funds.”
“It shows how this person has a fear of Allah and he deserved to be celebrated,” he went on to say.
Yusuf urged Kano residents to uphold the state’s hard-earned reputation by demonstrating the characteristics of integrity, self-discipline, and happiness in order to live a happy life.
In response, the recipient stated that he returned the missing money to the state Pilgrims Welfare Board out of fear of Allah, knowing full well that it is not right to utilize what does not belong to him despite the current economic difficulties.
