Pupils Sent Home From School As a Countrywide Strike Begins In Ogun

Understudies of government funded schools in Ogun State were on Tuesday sent back home as educators joined the cross country strike pronounced by the Nigeria Work Congress (NLC) and the Worker’s guild Congress (TUC).

The students, who went to class on Tuesday, got back as there were no instructors to take care of them.

“We were told to return home since educators have taken to the streets,” Ismaila, an understudy of Macjob Optional School, told our reporter at Onikolobo area of Abeokuta.
