Understudies of government funded schools in Ogun State were on Tuesday sent back home as educators joined the cross country strike pronounced by the Nigeria Work Congress (NLC) and the Worker’s guild Congress (TUC).
The students, who went to class on Tuesday, got back as there were no instructors to take care of them.
A portion of the students, who addressed SOUTHERNROBIN in Abeokuta, the state capital, said that the homerooms were safely guarded.
“We were told to return home since educators have taken to the streets,” Ismaila, an understudy of Macjob Optional School, told our reporter at Onikolobo area of Abeokuta.
