Aliyu Zubairu, the head coach of El-Kanemi Warriors, has urged club supporters to have faith in the team.
Zubairu stated that the technical crew is putting together a new team with the goal of advancing to the top flight next season.
He admitted that the task would be difficult, but he assured the fans that the goal would be reached with their prayers and patience.
“The fans should keep their faith, support the team, and be patient,” he told the club’s media.
“We are completely rebuilding a new team, and as I told them the day I was introduced, that will not be an easy task, but we do intend to advance. “All we ask of them is that they assist the team.”
Prayers, and they should always stay with the team, keep supporting the team, and I believe that by the end of the season, we will have achieved our goal of securing a promotion ticket.”
With four points, El-Kanemi Warriors are third on the table. The Borno Army’s next game will be against Nasarawa United.
