Cardi B, an American rapper, has confirmed that she is no longer married to her husband Offset.
During a recent Instagram live session, the mother of two revealed to her 169 million followers that she has been single for some time.
She stated that she had been meaning to disclose her current relationship status but didn’t know how.
Her admission came just hours after rapper Blueface accused her husband, Offset, of sleeping with Chrisean Rock, his baby mama.
Offset, on the other hand, denied the allegations, claiming he has never “talked [to] or touched” Blueface’s baby mama.
“I don’t think it [Blueface’s allegations against Offset] is true,” Cardi B said during an Instagram Live session. I’m not interested in finding out because I’ve been single for a long time.
“But I’ve been too afraid to… I’m not scared. I’m not sure how to tell the world. But I feel like today was a foreshadowing. I wanted to tell you guys the last time I went live, but I didn’t know how. So I reconsidered.
“But [our marriage] has been like this for a long time.” I just want to start over in 2024. I’m not sure, but I’m looking for a new start in life.”
Cardi B and Offset recently unfollowed each other on Instagram The couple secretly married in 2017 and have two children together since then.
Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in September 2020, but the divorce was denied, the two got back together in October.
In June 2023, Cardi B publicly blasted Offset after he claimed she cheated on him.
