A week after it was announced that the British king will receive treatment for an enlarged prostate, King Charles III was admitted to a hospital in London on Friday for his scheduled surgery, according to Buckingham Palace.
The palace stated that the king appreciated “all those who have sent their good wishes over the past week” and that “he was this morning admitted to a London hospital for scheduled treatment.”
