Nigerian artist Asake has won the “Best African Act” at the recently concluded Music Of Black Origins Awards (MOBO) held in Sheffield United Kingdom, triumphing over Grammy winner Tyla.
The vocalist’s prosperity came under seven days after he lost to South African sensation Tyla at the Grammy.
Other Nigerian craftsmen were likewise designated in the gathering including Davido, BurnaBoy, Ayra Star, Rema and Adekunle Gold.
Nigerian gospel vocalist Limoblaze likewise brought back home the gospel act grant.
They joined the positions of past Mobo champs like Wizkid and Burna Kid, who have made a permanent imprint on the global music scene.
