Security: CDS Fact-Finding Team Engages Critical Stakeholders in Plateau

A reality finding group set up by the Head of Protection Staff, Discs, General Christopher Musa, has met with key partners in Level State to look for feasible arrangements that would end the lasting viciousness tormenting networks in the state.

The increasing number of isolated killings and the introduction of sophisticated weapons into the state deeply concerned the stakeholders. They urged the state government to act as a mediator between the conflicting factions by employing a comprehensive strategy that takes into account the viewpoints of all parties involved and taking immediate steps to stop the flow of weapons through designated channels.

The Chairman of the CAN in Plateau State, Rev. Fr. Polycarp Lubo, and the State Executive of JNI, Alhaji Muhammadu Haruna, passionately censured strict profiling and the generalizing of any ethnic gathering as crooks and stressed the need for individual assurance in finishing the emergency. They prescribed improving conventional establishments to address security worries inside their nearby areas and underlined the need to capture people who propagate the continuous clash.
