Legendary Nigerian musician Innocent Ujah Idibia, well known by his stage as 2Baba, has broken up with Efe Omorogbe, CEO of Now Muzik, his longtime manager.
This was revealed in a joint statement that the two released on Wednesday and Now Muzik posted to Instagram.
The mutual disagreement, according to the statement, is effective immediately.
Thanking 2Baba, Omorogbe said that working with him was “beyond work.”
He pledged that he and his business would continue to assist the singer in the background even as he celebrated his successes with 2Baba throughout the course of their 20-year collaboration.
According to 2Baba, “Efe and his team at Now Muzik are largely responsible for my career success.”
He expressed his gratitude, saying, “but every wonderful thing
must terminate.
According to the SOUTHERNROBIN, 2Baba signed a management contract with Now Muzik after leaving The Plantashun Boiz in 2004.
Hypertek Digital, the singer’s new management business, will now act as his agent.
