The Ondo State All Progressives Congress has advised its candidates for governorship not to make rash remarks ahead of its primary for governor on April 20.
In its Easter message, which was made public on Monday in Akure by its publicity secretary, Alex Kalejaye, the party provided the advice.
The party declared that it was committed to fostering an environment that would lead to the rise of a well-liked candidate for governor.
The Ondo APC party is growing more powerful, intimidating to other political parties, and the most organized and successful party in the state, according to Kalejaye.
He assured the party’s thronging members that brighter days were ahead and praised the devotion and allegiance of party leaders and members thus far.
The party’s leader, Kalejaye, was positive that Nigeria’s economy will improve quickly.
“We celebrate Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection, which stand for victory, along with all of our members and really all Christians. It is the main reason for celebrating Easter.
We hope that the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ will, for the benefit of all, foster a stronger sense of togetherness within our group and an exceptional love for our beloved state.
“But since we are all related, we would like to take this chance to urge our members to avoid any statements that might inflame the political climate,” he stated.
November 16, 2024 has been set aside for the Ondo State gubernatorial election.
