The NiMet Weather Outlook issued on Thursday in Abuja predicted dust haze with visibility ranging from 2Km to 5Km over the northern area on Friday.
The agency forecasted a low chance of isolated thunderstorms across areas of Taraba state in the early morning hours.
“Later in the day, dust haze with visibility ranging from 2km to 5km is expected over the region, with thunderstorms possible in Taraba, Adamawa, and Kaduna states.”
“Cloudy skies with brief periods of sunshine are expected over the North Central region during the morning hours, with the possibility of isolated thunderstorms over parts of the Federal Capital Territory, Plateau, Nasarawa, Benue, and Kogi states.”

Later in the day, the agency predicted thunderstorms and rain in portions of Edo, Osun, Ogun, Ondo, Enugu, Anambra, Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi, Imo, Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa, Cross River, and Lagos states.
On Saturday, the agency projected dust haze with visibility ranging from 2Km to 5Km across the northern area in the morning hours.
“Later in the day, dust haze with visibility ranging from 2km to 5km is forecast over the northern region, with thunderstorms possible over parts of Taraba and Adamawa states.”

Thunderstorms are expected across the North Central area in the early hours, with chances of rain in sections of the Federal Capital Territory, Nasarawa, Niger, and Benue states.
“Later in the day, thunderstorms are expected over parts of Kogi, Benue, the Federal Capital Territory, Nasarawa and Kwara states,” according to the report.
Cloudy skies were anticipated over the interior sections of the South and its coastal states, with thunderstorms possible across parts of Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, Abia, Edo, Ondo, Ogun, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa, and Lagos during the early hours.
Later in the day, thunderstorms are expected across portions of Edo, Ebonyi, Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Abia, Ondo, Osun, Ekiti, Ogun, Oyo, Lagos, Bayelsa, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, and Rivers states.
