Dr AbdulRahman Ado Ibrahim, the supreme king of Ebiraland, has died.
He passed away on Sunday at the age of 94.
According to palace officials, the king died at an Abuja hospital where he was undergoing treatment for an age-related condition.
Dr. Ado Ibrahim, born on February 7, 1929, was the current Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, a traditional state centered in Okene, Kogi State.
Prior to coming to the throne, he was a wealthy businessman who spent the majority of his life in Lagos.
His ashes will be interred today at Okene according to Islamic customs.
