The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Ondo State Police Command have committed to strengthen their current collaboration in order to combat crime in the state.
This was revealed by the Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, and the NSCDC Commandant, Olatundun Olayinka, during Alabi’s visit to the NSCDC headquarters in Akure. The goal of the visit, according to Alabi, was to urge corps assistance in the state’s battle against crime.
“NSCDC is an important agency whose roles in the state cannot be overstated.”
“To win the battle against insecurity, we have to improve on our partnership so as to place us at a proper pedestal in fighting crime,” he went on to say.
