TCN Turns Around In The Wake of Affirming Public Framework Closure To DAILY POST

TCN, Nigeria’s transmission company, has reversed its earlier assertion that the national grid will be shut down after the proclamation of a statewide strike by organized labor on Tuesday.

Recall that TCN spokeswoman Ndidi Mbah revealed to SOUTHERNROBIN on Tuesday that power workers have shut down the national grid in accordance with an indefinite strike called by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and the Trade Union Congress, TUC.

A few hours later, however, a statement signed by TCN’s management stated that the nation’s grid is intact and distributing bulk power to distribution load centers around the country.

“We hereby confirm that the nation’s grid is operational and supplying bulk electricity to distribution load centers across the country. “As at the time this message was issued, the TCN National.

The Osogbo Control Centre, which oversees bulk electricity transmission across the country, is fully functioning.

“We would appreciate that reports are made with a sense of responsibility, not just to cause panic,” he said.

According to SOUTHERNROBIN findings, power has been restored in sections of the federal capital area at the time of submitting this report.
