Mr Tijjani Gwarzo, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, has praised President Bola Tinubu for his vision and commitment to guaranteeing cheap and accessible housing for all Nigerians.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Gwarzo offered the compliment on Friday in Kaduna at the conclusion of the 12th Meeting of the National Council on Lands, Housing, and Urban Development.
The meeting’s subject, according to NAN, is “Harnessing Local and International Credit Schemes as a Panacea for Housing Infrastructure Development Under the Renewed Hope Agenda.”
The minister stated that the topic was chosen to alleviate the strain of obtaining loans for houses in the country Gwarzo also thanked the Minister.
Mr Ahmed Dangiwa, Minister of Housing and Urban Development, for his outstanding leadership and supervision of the demerged ministry.
He stated that Dangiwa has used his wide knowledge to steer the affairs of the crucial sector of the economy, housing and urban development.
“The sector is making tremendous progress in laying good foundations in the areas of housing programs and interventions,” Gwarzo remarked.
“This is consistent with the Presidential Priority Projects and other key programs overseen by him.”
“Dangiwa’s drive for the review of all the enabling laws and reforms of the housing sector has been very remarkable,” said the minister in an interview.
