Tending to the developing worry of road bars during gatherings and get-togethers, the Lagos State Taskforce has announced its aim to capture and indict people saw as at legitimate fault for causing such interruptions.
CSP Shola Jejeloye, the Executive of the organization, communicated his dissatisfaction in a proclamation delivered on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 depicting the training as egotistical and impolite.
He stressed the requirement for residents to shun activities that make inconvenience honest occupants.
Jejeloye censured how some Lagosians celebrate occasions like birthday celebrations and naming functions on open roads and streets, making bother other street clients and representing a disturbance to society in general.
Interesting to occupants to stop the propensity for impeding roads for festivities, Jejeloye cautioned of legitimate ramifications for the people who keep on participating in such way of behaving.
“It is exceptionally unsatisfactory that one would childishly and unconsciously cordon off a whole road to toss gatherings and get-togethers, subsequently causing clamor contamination and traffic gridlock nearby. It is the level of unreliability, and from this time forward, anybody discovered completing such a silly demonstration will be captured and charged to the portable court right away,” he proclaimed.
