New Minimum Wage to Commence April 2024, says FG

The Central Government on Thursday reported that another lowest pay permitted by law system would become effective on April 1, 2024.

The Priest of Data and Public Direction, Idris Mohammed, made this declaration, saying that the ongoing N30,000 the lowest pay permitted by law would terminate toward the finish of Walk 2024.

“Surely, there is another pay system that will come in on April 1, 2024. To that end these palliatives were designated so they would pad monetary difficulty before then, at that point,” Mohammed said.

“In our exchange with Work, we said that the pay issue was not something one could simply fix. A board that will likewise include Work itself will deal with it.”

Mohammed further uncovered that the advisory group is being comprised and the Central Government is conversing with Work about it.

He added that when this ongoing pay system lapses toward the finish of Spring, Nigerian laborers ought to expect that another pay will start off by April.

The Pastor said it is in this pay system that the Public authority will presently have a legitimate compensation structure for laborers across the length and broadness of the country.

“We expect that the confidential area and state lead representatives will likewise do likewise,” Mohammed told newsmen in Abuja.
