Three infamous bandits have been neutralized by Nigerian Army soldiers from the 6 Brigade who were stationed in Taraba’s Karim Lamido Local Government Area.
This is stated in a statement that was issued on Thursday in Jalingo by Lt. Olabodunde Oni, the brigade’s public relations officer.
He said that a cache of forty rounds of 7.62 MM Special ammunition, two AK-47 weapons, and the offenders’ motorcycle were all recovered as a result of the mission’s success.
The public relations representative clarified that the operation was carried out in Chibi, where the military executed a targeted attack against the offenders based on useful intelligence.
He said that the troops’ unwavering dedication to preserving Taraba’s peace and security is demonstrated by their engagement.
The statement added that Brig.-Gen. Kingsley Uwa, Commander of 6 Brigade, praised the soldiers for their bravery and effectiveness in carrying out the operation.
According to Oni, the Brigade Commander emphasized the military’s commitment to purging the state of lawbreakers and guaranteeing the security and welfare of the indigenous populace.
