The Public Organization for Food and Medication Organization and Control, NAFDAC, has fixed a juice fabricating organization in Ibadan for delivering without the office’s enrollment number.
Rosline Ajayi, the director of NAFDAC South-West, disclosed this during an interview with journalists on Wednesday in Ibadan.
She said that the organization heard about the organization’s activities through data made accessible by the Osun office.
She claims, “We collaborate a lot; our state office in Osun sent a data through WhatsApp clasp of the organization’s items that was found in a hamper without NAFDAC enrollment number.
Our state office sent me the video to check because it has an Ibadan address. I also checked to see if the company has a file with NAFDAC, and it does.
“In any case, while going through the record, I found that the organization really applied for enlistment, yet no sign that assessment was finished or NAFDAC number given.”
Ajayi said that an application and installment were not equivalent to enrollment, adding that a ton of methods were engaged with enlisting an item.
She added that the agency’s inspection officers were sent to the address of the company to find it, and when they got there, they found that it was making juice without a NAFDAC number.
