Herbert Wigwe: US NTSB Releases Images of Helicopter Crash Site

Images of the scene where the helicopter carrying Herbert Wigwe, the chief executive officer of Access Holdings, and other people crashed have been made public by the US National Transportation Safety Board, or NTSB.

The deceased included Wigwe, his wife Doreen, their son Chizi Wigwe, and former chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group Abimbola Ogunbanjo. The Airbus EC130 helicopter went down in Halloran Springs, on the California-Nevada border.

NTSB photos showed investigators rummaging around the debris.

Recall that on Sunday, NTSB board member Michael Graham gave an update, stating that they had visited the scene and described the actions carried out on the first full day of the accident site inquiry.

These comprised site documentation, mapping by overhead drone, and a thorough analysis of the debris field by the Airworthiness Group.

The debris field, which measured around 100 yards in length, included every significant part of the helicopter, including the landing gear skids, engine, tail rotor, gearbox, and rotor blades.
