In Ubari, in Southern Libya, a Nigerian man has been taken into custody on suspicion of beating up another Nigerian.
On Thursday, February 15, 2024, Migrant Rescue Watch posted a report claiming that the accused had also burned the victim.
The post stated: “Police (CID) in response to a hospital report arrested a Nigerian migrant in Ubari who was responsible for assaulting and batterying another Nigerian national.”
“The perpetrator severely beat and burned the victim before bringing her to the hospital.”
“After being moved to the Ubari Security Directorate, the accused admitted to committing the crime.”
