Nigeria expressed its sympathies on Saturday to the Russian government and people in the wake of the terrorist assault that occurred in Moscow on Friday.
On Friday, during a concert at the Crocus City Hall, close to Moscow, the Russian capital, gunmen dressed in camouflage began shooting at the audience.
Al Jazeera reported that 115 people have died as a result of the terrorist attack at Moscow’s Crocus City Hall, including children.
Information about the use of automatic weapons in what many have called “one of the worst attacks in Russia in years” came from a number of Russian media outlets.
In response, Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, issued Vladimir Putin a statement expressing his sympathies and condolences.
“We send our sincere sympathies to the individuals and The Russian Federation’s government on the sad incident that took place at the Crocus Concert Hall in Moscow, leaving over a hundred people injured and dead.
“The Nigerian government and people offer their condolences to the victims of this horrific act and pray for their souls to rest.
